Time-Out!

Time-Out!

The post has to begin with an expression of my deepest gratitude for and absolute amazement with the folks who have followed me in the last 15 months. This has been an enlightening process for me and a direct way to accomplish what I set out to do (without knowing it) when the conversation first started on Twitter. I receive a lot of email thanking me for what I have done for so many to transform their trading and to, at least, provide some hope that many have finally found information worth using. I think most of these folks, however, forget that nothing happens without intention and that the results of their work comes from their effort and not mine. Again, thank you for this process and my education as to what many are struggling with on a direct path to fulfilling a desire to be completely professional and independent in this business.

On a different note, I will be going to Canada on Friday, December 17th, and will spend Christmas there with family. It is a great time to see my parents, sisters, nephews and some friends. I will not be trading much (I always say that and end up trading all day; but I really need to focus on family while there), so I will not appear on the stream all that much. I will be returning to Chicago on Christmas evening to spend the following week doing end-of-year financial stuff for my firm and to work on some really exciting plans for next year.

Some changes are coming and I will announce those in due time. I am looking forward to a new chapter and new challenges for next year. Many things are finally falling in place in my personal life and I have been working hard over the last couple of weeks to finalize them in order to move forward.

In case I forget, let me now say: Have a joyous holiday, Happy Hanukkah, Merry Christmas. May the coming year be filled with positive surprises for you, may it fulfill many of your greatest desires, may it bestow on you and your family the greatest health, financial security, the strongest relationships and love from all who are around you and may you transcend all of your challenges. Most of all, may these blessings reveal to you that the best path for all of us is to improve ourselves in all aspects of life and to pay it forward to those who need it. A rising tide lifts all boats, so consider your selflessness acts towards others and the planet be the tide that makes a difference in your family and community.

Cheers, shalom, salam, namaste!

I missed the 14 first months of your endeavour but already fell part of your exclusive Trading family. Congratulation on a great work and dedication. I don't Tweet often but I am there following all your moves and comments of all traders and ready to help if I can. Thanks for the confidence you are building on us, thanks for giving us an edge.

Happy vacations and Merry Christmas to all of you from Barcelona.

    Cheers,
    Amitiés,

Many Thanks, FT! What you do is pretty much unprecedented in the sphere of trading education. If anyone ever asks me how to start in futures trading, my reply will be: "Install TweetDeck and get to follow FT71, you'll go from there".

Happy Holidays, though I know a few of your twits will still pop up!

Been reading your blog for a little while now and only just now noticed you're in Chicago too.

Next time we get a bunch of StockTwittters together for beers, you should join us.

    Hi FT71,

I remember first time I came across your blog in the very beginning I didn't have high expectations, lucky me I decided to follow and see what comes out of it. A very good decision it turned out to be. What you are doing for us is very special not only because of the high quality content but also that you are not trying to make money out of it.

Looking forward for next year which should be a turnaround for me big time.

    Dear FT71,

thank you for all you're doing – our boats are lifting; I'm a perfectionist and taking your words about trading being business seriously, conscious about effort to prepare for it thoroughly. Still #3 being great help and loving Bagger Vance, adhoc improptu webinars, your twitter company, etc.

I belive what you wrote in last paragraph is what The Creator intended us to be, so with great gratitude to follow your example I wish you and your family Blessing, Peace and Healing where needed.

    Radek

    FT –

The reason I’m so grateful is because you are offering something of real value to those who need it most. There are soooo many scammers out there who want to take $500-$25,000 from beginning traders for nothing in return. Fortunately, I found your site before committing to one of these scammers. Your methodology is simple, but best yet, I’ve been put on the path to be able to do my own homework.

    Thank you!

    Ed (Denver)
