Live AMA on Trading

Background:

FuturesTrader71 is a professional trader with extensive experience in futures prop. These sessions are a way for traders to hopefully cut through some of the noise that exists online for traders and to get down to what really matters. FT71 has backed and trained multiple traders and has spent his entire futures career in Chicago. He was formerly a high frequency NASDAQ equities trader but made the switch to futures in 2002.

FT71 is a member of the CME Group and is a licensed Eurex Trader. He is currently focused on Trader Development at Stage 5 Trading Corp (an independent futures brokerage specializing in online traders).

I have heard that in order to get super accurate bid/ask Delta data one must subscribe to very expensive data-feed.
Implying CQG, Rithmic etc not up the task.

    Do you agree with this?

I disagree. S5 Trader provides a good tick stream. It is unfiltered. However, I use IQFeed. I just can’t compromise of the accuracy and quality of my data. It is not expensive. Shoot us a message if you want a link or referral.

Talk more about having an edge and managing one’s psychology because at the end of the day a trade is 50\50.
